Pearl Cleage, the multi-award-winning novelist and playwright behind Blues for an Alabama Sky, Bourbon on the Border and more, brings a new comedic work to the stage under the the direction of Tony-nominated LaTanya Richardson Jackson (The Piano Lesson). Reflecting upon growing older, creativity, and ones place in the world, the brilliant new work comes to the Geffen Playhouse in June.
Actress Anna has won all of the accolades, but is in dire need of money. Returning back to America to try and make her all-important comeback, she's confronted with the new generation who've taken over; a generation that challenges her legacy, her views and her relevance.
